The Kastle Drum is a Bastl classic mini modular synth focusing on algorithmic glitchy drums.
Drum sound synthesis with a unique dynamic acceleration charged envelope makes this rhythm box surprisingly versatile and extremely fun to play. The built-in VC clock generator with a stepped pattern sequencer can either run on its own or it can be synchronized to analog clock.
Kastle ARP is a unique modular melody generator based on a quantized sine wave oscillator with a digital waveshaper. The oscillator ensures it is always in tune, and its pitch can be selected using the NOTE and CHORD inputs. The decay envelope adds variation, while the timbre control allows you to blend between noble sine waves and 8-bit chip-tunes.

It has unique digital lo-fi sound and it can be melodic as well as very noisy and drony, soft or harsh. It is designed to be fun on its own but it is most powerful when combined with other modular gear.
